As entrepreneurs, our panelists understand the importance of being a registered business, having a certified accountant and marketing strategies as some key factors to a successful career. The panelists have a lot to share about self-employment, self promotion and developing a strong brand. This round will provide a forum to education and advice on maintaining an effective business plan.

Round 2: One on One – Creating Relationships
Time: 2:30pm – 3:45pm
In this new addition to the conference, we’re dedicating one hour to the importance of networking. Unfortunately, many artists (producers, managers, etc) do not have relationships with key industry executives and this can create obstacles for artists to receive exposure and proper advice. Each participant will book five minutes with a maximum of three (3) advisors of their choice, and can ask for advice or feedback. Once their five minutes have been completed, the participant will proceed to the next advisor on his/her appointment schedule and continue until their entire schedule has been completed. One on Ones can be a great benefit to artists, producers, managers, etc. because it not only gives them a chance to network in a more initiate setting, but it also allows the artist to properly strategize the next step in their career.
