This is the weekend that my mother always warned me about. (That’s right, as a baby my mama would tell me the perils of clubbing.) This is the weekend that will end in infamy as I do my two most drunken events back to back over a period of 12 hours. It starts with JesseWalker.net’s birthday tonight and then ends the next afternoon with the St.Patrick’s Day Party. Both at Nuvo, 1401 Mackay.
It all starts tonight as we celebrate my birthday in an event that we are calling Sprung. With a handpick selection of my favorite DJs:  Blaster, Kwite Sane, Keith Dean, Eddie Lewis, Star Q, Chunes, and MC Rain. Let’s be honest, there is no way anyone can afford a DJ lineup like that, and the only reason that they are all coming to one place is because I have blackmail pictures on all of them it is my birthday. Also, Tasha P., Matea & Lydia Patel will be celebrating their birthday… It is just madness.
And then tomorrow afternoon (less than 10 hours later, this is like the springtime Carnival weekend), we are all going to be downtown for the St.Paddy’s Day Parade and Megaparty. The parade starts at noon and we will all be on the corner of Ste.Catherine and Mackay drinking celebrating. And then right after the parade we go right to Nuvo (right there, on the corner) for the afterparty. If you have been to one of my previous St.Paddy’s Day parties, then you know the foolishness that I am talking about. Free entrance and drinks starting at $1, ’nuff said!
