We return to the Maysen in Lennoxville for Freaks and Geeks this Thursday. Dig out your suspenders and army boots as we throw a fundraiser for the Makupo Development Group Featuring the return of DJ Blaster from Montreal. Hosted by JesseWalker.net

This Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at the Maysen, 116 Queen St. in Lennoxville. Tickets are 3$ or 5$ at the door. Ticket sales go to the Makupo Development Group, so come out and support a great cause! Tickets will be sold in the Education lounge (3rd floor Nichols) Monday – Thursday from 12-1. The Makupo Development Group aims to help set-up sustainable development activities in Malawi, Africa in and around the village of Makupo and the Kasungu region. Projects facilitated by MDG seek to create and stimulate a rural economy by providing infrastructure and creating income earning possibilities as well as provide an invaluable learning experience to Canadians about the reality of life in Malawi. This year several Bishop’s students are aiming to participate in this project and need you help in doing so!
