Why Decadence??
December 31, 2009 | Category: Blaster, Jesse Walker, New Year's Eve, PB&J Newsletter, Tabu, Upcoming Events
I promise this will be the blurb of the year, maybe even the decade… but  I wanted to run down a few last minute questions that people had about New Year’s Eve. Don’t forget that we have Broken Resolutions on January 2nd, because on the first you make your resolutions, and on the second, you break them… Make sure to check out the video we did for NYE this year!!
What kind of party is it? There is a reason we called it Decadence. This event is all about having fun. This is not a regular night, and your experience should be beyond the ordinary. Not to spend a lot of money for no reason only to stand against a wall for the night, but to go out and drink, and dance, and be with friends, and have a night you will not forget… This is why we chose the DJs we did, and made sure to have the drink specials you wanted!!
Open Bar! We are the only Urban party in Montreal to have an Open Bar this year. If the promo on another party says Free Liquor, that does not necessarily mean Open Bar, that means a free drink. We start off the night with two hours of Open Bar!! That means Speed Rail (Rum Vodka, etc) and Beer… So start your night off proper! Doors open at 9pm.
Champagne Toast. We ordered enough champagne to make sure that everyone gets a toast at Midnight!! And if we have extra bottles we will probably give that away too… you know how we do. Or you can buy bottles starting at $45.
The DJs. I chose the DJs that I know play good music. Period. DJ Blaster will throw it down, trust. Plus Soca from Chunes and Reggae from Platinum. Madness!! Plus we have Judgement back from retirement to lay down the vocals. Not to brag, but you will leave the dance feeling nice.
Why in a club? I know people come to Tabu on a regular basis, so why spend your NYE there? Because everything is set up and ready to work. The sound is set up (in fact we added sound for NYE, trust me), the lighting is already there, and you know the liquor is there. Plus the staff is there every week and knows where everything is. There will be no surprises during the night.
Ticket prices. We wanted to make the ticket price affordable, but still provide you with all of the perks that you should get on New Year’s Eve, like Open Bar and Free Champagne. I personally have some $24.99 tickets (not a lot) and all of the stores have $29.99 tickets.
You can purchase tickets Online or via phone 514-790-1245 until noon today. After that the Admission network is closed. You can still buy tickets at all Admission stores until they close. (Many at 5pm). Princessa, Off The Hook and City Styles have all been restocked with tickets and Triple AAA will have this afternoon. You can also purchase tickets at the Holiday Inn, Nouveau Hotel, Meridien, and Delta. Any question call the infoline at 514-521-8465.
Because we ran out of tickets in some outlets, I will keep the door at $29.99… but at the beginning of the night only…. So come early and enjoy the Open Bar!!!
At home at Midnight? Don’t worry, we will be at an affordable standard club price for those of you who want to come in towards the end of the evening.
Any more questions, please do not hesitate to call 514.521.8465 or 514-803-8105 or go to the official website MontrealNYE.info
