This Week’s Events!

What a week… I still think I am recovering from the extensive PB&J tour across Canada, but it sure is nice to be home… And it was great to see Montrealers come out in costume for our third annual Halloween jam, Jumbie last week. Some of the pictures are at the bottom of this email, or you can click here to see the video with all of the pics…
I enjoy doing a series of events like Jumbie, where people know what they are in for… Another set of parties like that are our Hangover series, Montreal’s drunkest parties. Every month or so, DJ Blaster and I invite one of our favorite out of town DJs and try to get them as drunk as possible and see if they can still play… Toronto is our favorite target as they are not used to drinking until 3am (Ya I said it!)… Hangover 1 (click to see the pics) introduced us to Analog Soundsystem out of the Milton/Toronto area… Hangover 2, we played with DJ Huggies from Sherbrooke (impossible to get him drunk!), Hangover 3 had Toronto’s Ghost Ryder come down, and then for Hangover 4, we had Ghost Ryder bring his whole Judgement Day Soundcrew. (PS. Look out for his birthday video coming soon)
This Saturday, we will be doing the fifth installment of Hangover, titled appropriately enough, Wasted. This time we are introducing Platinum Touch to Montreal for the very first time. Based out of Toronto, Platinum Touch play at that ciry’s biggest urban venue, Home, and live to air on Flow 93.5 every week. I am sure that PB&J (Plastered Blaster & Jesse) will make them puke show them (and you) a night to remember… Click Here for more information and the (requisite) drunken video, or just scroll down for the 411…
