MDJA: The Inaugural Montreal DJ Awards take place December 8th
People are invite to vote for their favorite DJs online
We are proud to announce the inaugural Montreal DJ Awards taking place on December 8th, 2008. The MDJA was formed to recognized this city’s most talented and versatile DJs as chosen by the people.
A total of 14 awards are to be given out in eight different categories. Categories include: Dance, House, Techno, Hip Hop, Reggae, Compas, Latin and R&B/Soul. People are invited to vote for their favorite DJs by logging on to www.mdja.tv or by phone at 514 261-1939
There will also be two special awards given out during the night. The first ever ‘Hall of Fame’ award will be given to DJ Shortcut. The ‘DJ Ambassador’ trophy will be presented to DJ Champion.
In addition to the Awards ceremonies, there will be live performances from Uness, Criollo, Nessa, Ale Dee, Third Place, L’Authentik Paysan, Leila, King Shadrock and Anny Di.
The MDJA takes place on Monday, December 8th, 2008 at 7:30pm. The event takes place at the beautiful Bain Mathieu, located at 2915 Ontario E. Tickets start at $24.95 and are available at City Styles and Off Da Hook in Montreal, and Sur Le Spot in Laval. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.mdja.tv

Nous sommes fières de vous présenter la toute première édition du Gala MDJA qui aura lieu le 8 décembre 2008. La Gala MDJA fût créé pour honorer le talent et la versatilité des DJs locaux, un choix qui sera fait par le public.
Un total de 14 prix seront remis, dans huit catégories musicales : Dance, House, Hip Hop, Reggae, Compas/Zouk, R&B/Soul et Musique Latine. Nous invitons le public à voter sur le site officiel www.mdja.tv ou par téléphone au 514 261-1939.
De plus, nous remettrons durant le déroulement de la soirée deux trophées spéciaux. La toute premier trophée du “Temple De La Renommé des DJs” à DJ Shortcut ainsi que la trophée “Ambassadeur” à DJ Champion.
Un total de 9 prestations seront au rendez-vous, Incluant un spectacle de haute qualité mettant en vedette: Uness, Criollo, Nessa, Ale Dee, Third Place, L’Authentik Paysan, Leila, King Shadrock et Anny Di.
Le Gala MDA aura le lieu Lundi le 8 décembre 2008 à 19h30. Situé au merveilleux Bain Mathieu au 2915, rue Ontarion Est. Vous pouvez procurer les billets au City Styles, Off Da Hook a Montreal et Sur Le Spot a Laval. Les Billets limités peuvent aussi être acheté en ligne au www.mdja.tv.
